5 Gyres attended the Sea Pulse Film Festival today, organized by Bill Macdonald, a respected filmmaker in the field of marine science. Capt. Charles Moore was there to answer questions about the science of plastic pollution, while groups like Team Marine and Los Cerritos Wetlands Steward discussed their solutions in action.
