Here's a smart business alternative to the plastic straw.  If you know that plastic pollution is a problem, and you insist on giving your customers a straw, then this is the ethical alternative.  If you use this, then you will not only save marine life the suffering that comes from persistent plastic waste, but you save your body from accumulating plasticizers that leech from new plastics.
