In 2024, 5 Gyres Ambassadors and volunteers collected data on trash found across U.S. National Parks and federal lands, identifying item, brand, and material, as part of the Plastic-Free Parks TrashBlitz. The goal of the report is to provide valuable data on plastic pollution in national parks to support and advise effective solutions.
